Description
Spread about 20 g of the sample inside the four magenta reference dots and photograph it from above; three to five trays of fresh beans per sample give a steady reading. Prism and Coffee Spectra find the dots, correct the perspective and measure every bean, giving a screen-size estimate with percentiles and the 16+ / 14–15 / below-14 split.
The dot size and spacing are the defaults both apps expect, so there is nothing to configure.
Includes an insert to cover the reference dots for use of the same tray in UV and natural light photography.
For best statistical accuracy, we recommend taking five photos of the sample on this tray; purchase additional trays to speed your workflow.
